OVERVIEW

The Plus-Minus-Interesting assessment prompts to students to evaluate a piece of text, art, music, video, etc.

IMPLEMENTING THIS ACTIVITY
  1. Enter a topic into the blank template.
  2. Make and distribute copies for each of the students.
  3. Explain the directions and expectations of the activity.
  4. After reading or completing a lesson, students should complete this graphic organizer by specifying what they found to be the positive, negative, and interesting aspects of an assignment.
  5. Once completed, the teacher can either collect them for evaluation or initiate a class discussion to assess student learning.
