OVERVIEW

The Mirror is a formative assessment technique that allows students to reflect upon themselves, their experiences, their knowledge, etc.

IMPLEMENTING THIS ACTIVITY
  1. Tailor the Mirror template to fit your classroom needs.
  2. Distribute copies to your students.
  3. After completing a specific activity, lesson, field trip, task, article, etc.; ask students to write a reflection based on the prompt in the Binoculars template.
  4. Collect and/or discuss responses. Use information found in student work to inform future instruction.
